Dear One,
I am writing to remind you of things you already know. When you doubt yourself, it is an opportunity to get clear about your intentions.
Some questions may be helpful:
What do I hope to accomplish with this endeavor?
Am I trying to manipulate an outcome?
Am I claiming to be an authority on something that I am not?
Is fear influencing me? If so, of what am I afraid?
Is the need for approval hindering me? If so, whose approval am I seeking?
How does anger factor in, if at all? Am I seeking revenge through the course I want to take?
Questioning your motives for taking action is an important practice in acting ethically and with integrity. If you are invested in protecting your pride or the way you think things “should” be, your actions will be self-serving. When you are grounded in Love, however, you will naturally seek the greater good, which requires openness, curiosity, and honesty. Being honest with yourself is the first step toward clarity and trust in your Inner Wisdom.
Remember, this moment is an opportunity to connect to Love and so to live into the fullness of who you are.
As always, do what best awakens you to Love,
Your Inner Wisdom
So True. Thank you!
