Dear One,
I am writing to remind you of things you already know. When you are bringing light into a dark place, do not be surprised when you meet resistance. For those who are bound by their own pain, live in darkness. The light reveals their vulnerability, and so they stand against it.
But keep your eyes on your values and integrity — your personal mission statement — instead of on the emotional reactivity of others. Do not let their unskillful behavior distract you.
Instead, bolster yourself with your empowering resources, and draw from your internal strength. Offer your own pain in solidarity with and for the liberation of others. Noble light-bearer, your scars are your trophies.
Remember, this moment is an opportunity to connect to Love and so to live into the fullness of who you are.
